California Dreamin' has the Palm Springs Style with a laid-back attitude. This house was completely remodeled with the focus on rest and relaxation while you wine & dine and swim & play. The colors of the house and all of its furnishings work together to invite you in, and make you feel welcome and right at home.
At 1900 square feet, you will find that the house has a spacious feel. The living room has a cool couch and matching chairs to sit and enjoy the view of Big Bear while sitting by the fireplace.
The remodeled kitchen is at the end of the living room. It has a breakfast bar and terrazzo countertops with blue cupboards. This modern kitchen is bountifully furnished — even a roasting pan for that Thanksgiving Dinner. We didn't even forget the crock pot. While in the kitchen you can enjoy views of the pool and garden, or the Mountain.
The dining room leads out to the covered patio, and has a wonderful view of the pool and landscaped garden. The table seats up to 8 comfortably. There is a wetbar with small fridge, strategically located close to the door for when you are enjoying the outdoors.
The stereo system has 4 sets of speakers: Living room, dining room, patio and pool area. Each area has its own volume control. There is also an iPod station, CD player and stereo.
The covered patio lets you enjoy the warm, sunny days under shelter while enjoying the overhead fan that creates a gentle calm breeze, while sitting around the Tropicana big oval table in one of six swivel/ rocking chairs.
The private heated swimming pool and landscaped gardens have views of Mt. Jacinto; there are 14 palm trees on the property creating a lovely oasis around which to roam and meander. There are 6 Tropicana chaise lounges for sunning, or if you cannot relax any more how about a game of ping pong on the 'table tennis' table? After a game you might fancy a soak in the Jacuzzi Spa, or back to the pool to lounge around on one of the floats provided.
Also, have a BBQ and eat dinner on the patio, as Palm Springs evenings are delightful.
On Fourth of July you can have front row poolside seating for the spectacular fireworks show put on by the City of Palm Springs.
Too much to do outside? How about visiting the Media Room, specifically designed to get away from everything & everyone, and lay low on the six-seater sectional while watching your favorite shows on the 52" HDTV Flat screen television with HBO, Showtime, HDTV channels and a Cambridge Surround Sound to rock the house or just the media room.
The three spa-like bedrooms are light and airy in design, to bring a soothing and welcoming feel to them. The beds are fluffy and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The bathrooms have been remodeled with glass tiles to echo the Palm Springs Style that flows throughout the house.
